"Shraavana"...

Today was supposed to be "Kade Shravana", and every year on this day, there is a music concert arranged at Koti Venkataramana Swami Temple-somewhere near Basavangudi i guess...

Had to go there....direct orders from MOM you see...!!!
But, this is become like a tradition, we never miss going there every year....and the crowd this year appeared to be very less compared to the previous years.....
My every visit there reminds me of one incident that occured, this was probably around 6 / 7 years back...You see, on this day, they distribute "puliyogre" as prasadam. And beleive me, that is really really good...And it so happened that i was not satisfied with just one serving, and hence stood in the line....for the second time...!!! But the person who was serving saw me, smiled and said.."Oye jubba, comming for the second time eh..?? ". If you are thinkin as to i was embarassed n all, NO WAY....!!! Anything for that Puliyogre...!!!

Well, comming back, this year, as i said, the crowd was not much. The main attraction on this day at the temple is the music concert. It was awesome this year, though the female who was playing the "Veena" was missing today...it was really good, mere words cannot describe as to how it was, one has to experience it....

Every year, there is this old man, who is part of the group, he plays the "Nadaswaram"(if i am not wrong with the name....), and today his performance was mindblowing...Man! it s really tough to play that instrument, and during the solo performance, when his turn came, one could feel the "rush" that it gave....

The last part, where in the pace gradually increases was real good. Man ! what a co-ordination..!!! Hats off to those guys...

A night spent worthily today.....
