Do you beleive your palm...? !

Well, i have come to know the importance of keeping up to one's words now-was questioned by my friend for not having posted any blogs as against me mentioning dat i will be a frequent blogger...!!!
anyways, neither did i have time to write what i wanted to, nor couldnt i find suitable words when i wanted to....

But, i deceided that i do some writing stuff ,...
well, i thought about it a lot-as to what to write and what not to...

And the first thing that came to my mind was Palmistry....
well this is strange you might think, and I dont know as to the blog below will deal completely with the actual topic but this is mainly coz of an incident that happened when i was doing my II PU at SRKVS, Mysore...

Well, we were the Golden Jubilee Batch and our Correspondent had made up his mind that we would not be the first batch to occupy the GJ Block since almost 3/4th of the academic year was over. But, you know, the more you resist, the more it persists...!!! But, we wanted to be the first batch to occupy the GJ block...

Anyways, it so happened that we finally convinced him that since we were the GJ Batch, the building would not be serving its purpose unless and untill and hence we(The GJ batch)were allowed to occupy the GJ Block.!!! And our trick worked, and we were shifting to the new block...!!!Yippee..!!!

And hence the need for an extra warden...and there came Swami Atmadhyanananda
This Swamiji was real cool, not strict, easy going on late risers and in short-a heaven for the lazy ones (like me...lol..!!! )..
after a few days of the swami's arrival did some guy come to know of the fact that this swamiji had the knowledge of reading the lines on the palms.....so, as i had expected, a crowd of students were fighting amongst themselves in a short period after the news came to be known...-for the order in which their palm has to be read-The typical Indian shtyle i.e priority and curiosity...!!!

Anyways, i too couldnt resist but show my palm to him so as to compell him to tell me what lies ahead for me....
This was during the Tea break we used to have after the Second night study...... i showed him my hand, and after hesitating to read the palm, he finally agreed...and his "readings/interpretations" went something like this....

1) I am blessed with a healthy life...but, i would have to be carefull at 2 stages of my life, when something serious would happen/ i would have to take care of my health seriously at those points...

2) I am blessed with fortune-wealth....and the same as health, where in i have to be very carefull at 2 stages in my entire life....

and these two would go hand in hand...i.e both of them would occur at the same time...

3) I would be "crossing the seas"...that is i would be going abroad...

4) I would have a good family-and not much of problems n all...

5) I am blessed with divine power...he said..like..i would have certain experiences which others would not be able to have-w.r.t to divinity i mean....

and some more which, I , at this point, am not able to remember...but these are the words which he used while reading my palm....

later my best friend-Kunch, who was also my roommate, after tellin him what swamiji had told me, obviously, human nature, he too wanted to know of his "future" and hence went to him and lay his hand in front of him so as know what lay in store for him....

and, swamiji, after seeing his palm for quite sometime, without saying anything about the "future", he told that he didnt want to read his hand....dont know for what reasons...!!!

and my beloved kunch, was fully tensed. Why would swamiji say something like that? He thought. And all sorts of fears could be seen on his face. Was it w.r.t to "Health line" or had it got something to do with the "Wealth line"...???

At this point, i chumma tried to throw some thought on to this topic......
Is this thing called Palmistry really work...??? Are we supposed to beleive it...???
what if you die early in some accident as against the long and healthy life promised by the lines in the palm...???
what if you go bankrupt faster than the "stages" that were told to you by the "wealth lines" on your palm.....???
what if you deceide to stay a bachelor-as against the happy family promised by your own lines...???
what if.......? what if.......? what if.......? what if.......? what if.......? what if.......? what if.......?
i thought then, but forgot about it the same night, and here it is back again, in my mind conflicting with my thoughts trying to justify itself....

Well, i guess no one would bother to give a minute to think about it if the "readings" coincide with what is already happening in their life......
in cases like kunch, one would really begin to question about things-trying to prove that they dont beleive in such things , and some...start worrying......

Some lesson which i had-probably in PU, talked about a similar thing....one starts to beleive in such things when life takes a stumble...else if the readings almost coincide with whats happening with his/her current life.......

But, what do the lines on our palms indicate anyways...??? Do they really tell as to how the remaining days of our mortal life would be like..???

Maybe they just lines that just get formed during our stay in the womb, and which are unique to a person, more like a DNA fingerprint........

Sometimes i wonder, what if swamiji said was true...???
But one of the msgs that i got recently caught my attention....

"...dont belive the lines on your palm, for they also have a future who do not have arms..."

so, do you belive your palm or what...??? !!!
